it would be give or take for 8 rounds, then Marquez takes over.... not too sure about a bout with Soto mind....
Dont forget that Acosta was able to outbox and hurt Rios. Marquez wont stand in front of Rios and go toe to toe like Antillion. Somewhere between Katsidis and Diaz.
Feather fist Diaz who almost had Marquez doing the chicken dance didn't had the power of Rios eighter.
Katsidis did have more power than Diaz tho, and even tho he did knock Juan down, Juan got up like it was nothing and finished the round strong. All im saying is to dont expect Bam Bam to knock out JMM with just one punch...He's gonna have to go out there and rough him up and batter him nonstop to beat him, but at the same time, hes gonna have to deal with alot of sharp counters and accurate combinations to head and body. This is definetly the fight i would love to see the most ATM.
Rios is no one punch wonder punching bag Katsidids. I love JMM but Rios would out work and out fight the older Marquez at this point. This would be one of those fights where the torch is pass on to a younger fighter IMO.
This. Is. True. But. I. Find. Rios. To. Be. Quite. Good. Really. Certainly. As. Good. If. Not. Better. Than. A. Juan. Diaz. And. Certainly. Better. Than. Katsidis. Who. Both. Enjoyed. Varying. Amounts. Of. Success. Against. The. Formidable. JMM. Just. Sayin'. Cawk.
I don't see it being anything but a good fight. JMM has been most vulnerable when in the trenches throughout his career. MAB had him down when the two were exchanging, as did Michael Katsidis and Manny Pacquiao. Juan Diaz also staggered and hurt JMM whilst the two were exchanging blows. This is Rios' bread and butter. He closes the distance and takes shots to land shots. Stand off JMM and he will punish you. I'd favour JMM to outlast Rios, who won't be able to take JMM's sharp punches all night, but it would be competitive and action-packed whilst it lasted.
