Easy win for Wlad. People who don't know the sport can't comprehend what is in front of their face. Wlad's footwork is freakish for his size. He keeps the distance and either backs up, ties you up, or uses his arms to deflect your offense.

And after rounds of this style...while getting tagged by jabs...the opponent is done. Holy is too little. The only fighters who would have a chance against Wlad are fighters who are near his size.

Ironically during the fight, I turned to my brother and stated, "my goodness, Wlad looks akward. His jab is having a hard time gauging Haye.
Wlad's timing with the jab was way off.......

......and on the flipside, Haye was'nt doing anything to work his way inside Wlad's pawing with the jab.

I then said, "Evander Holyfield at this time would be at is hopping rhythm, on his toes, doubling and tripling the jab and throwing power shots on the inside."

Watch any of the Bowe-Holyfield fights, compare the skills of Wlad to Bowe's, and Haye's to Holyfield, and you come out laughing as to the disparity in skill and know how between the fighters.

Thank you Jesus, for I was alive and an avid fan during the Holyfield-Bowe era.
I feel lucky and blessed to have lived that wonderful era with that great trilogy that was Holyfield-Bowe.

Holy and Bowe were made to fight each other. And remember that Holy lost to Moorer 94'. But yeah, Holy would probably win but Bowe's peak was a bit too short for comparison.

Its a shame Bowe ducked Lewis. Bowe only had a short time at the top before the hard fights took their toll but he was very very good for a while.

Bowe-Lewis could have been a great fight.

    Agreed!
I blame Bowe for the Lewis fight not happening, though I think that as a proffesional, Bowe had more tools and was a better skilled big man than Lewis.

Lets be real about Holyfield and Bowe. They both showed up to fight not only against eachother, but against everyone else they faced.
These guys were confident in their skillset that a cautious approach as Wlad routinely shows, was never in their mindset.

Wlad imo is to robotic to beat fluid, skilled, let your punches go fighters like Holyfield and Bowe.

Wlad's best shot to beat any of the 90's Heavyweights is against the greener version of Lennox Lewis, before Emmanuel Steward became his trainer.
That version of Lewis did'nt have much of a jab, so I think Wlad could have exploited that to his advantage.

I agree. Man, I miss prime Holyfield, hell I never liked him but I even miss Lennox. Heavyweight fights today are beyond horrible. Holyfield was too mentally tough for guys like Haye or Wlad. He was a pure fighter. Wlad and Haye are products, but fighting isnt in their dna imo. I would take Mercer, Tyson, Witherspoon, over them too any day.

    Your underating wlad imo.
I think he easily beats holyfield. Gives lewis a tough fight (we all know vitali easily beats Lewis, who instantly retired rather then give him the rematch that was ordered), and imo is a tough fight for many of histories top HW.
It's not wlad's fault he is methodical and makes it look easy!

    Don't be haters!

Any elite Heavyweight from 1900-1995 destroys the Klitsckos.

6'2 Ali would mercilessly taunt and toy with Klitschko, dance around him all night, and periodically unload combinations on him.

 He made it look easy. He got his face busted up by a B level cruiserweight. He couldnt land a ****ing jab on Haye. i think he landed 100 punches on the night.

And you think this bum beats the greatest cruiserweight in history? You think haye is anywhere near the speed and power of a prime holyfield.

    Stop watching boxing!

It wouldnt even be a ****ing challenge for ali. klitscko was struggling to hit haye. who even manny steward says has horrible footwork.

If he cant hit Haye, he's gonna hit ali lol. Ali would dance and clown this fool.
