What I think is funny is people think showtime/cbs a billion dollar company can't afford to pay mayweather. They are using the mayweather name/brand as a investment. His name sells and brings attention to showtime. They spend far more on creating shows and programming then they they spend paying mayweather.

Cotto vs Canelo is way more intriguing than Mayweather vs TBA especially on a mexican holiday.

Ture, but I don't to see myself paying for a canelo cotto ppv. I buy all the ppv but I'm been let down by the last 3-4 I've bought. Now you put a mayweather ppv vs cotto canelo on regular broadcast and I'm picking cotto vs canelo and catching the mayweather fight on rerun.

Or Void can finally grow a pair and start negotiations to fight Manny after he disposes of Algerie. A Void-Pacquiao card would dwarf anything HBO could come up with.

And this $32M per fight guarantee from showtine is why he is now one of the most overpaid boxers. Showtime cannot just afford to pay him these amount and fight his cherries like Ortiz, Guerrero and Maidana
