No way Vargas makes weight. Look at this.

He looks good, around 175lbs he wont have problems making 162. He used to come back from 200 to make 154 so its not even an issue.

 

He has always looked a little chubby, even in fight shape, I think he will make the weight.

Plus even if he actually is way over in that pic, you can lose 20lbs in a sauna if you really really want to.

 

No big deal . . . if he can't make weight . . . that's his problem . . . end of his career, period! :yep

 

It really doesnt matter if Vargas comes in over weight, its his last fight anyways. It not a title fight so its not like he will forfeit a title (he may get fined and lose some of his pasy though) he will just be slower the fatter he is. Though it might help him to absorb some of Mayorga's bombs if he is heavier.

He's seeing dollar signs. If his boy doesn't lose too badly, he might be able to have enough buzz to dump him into one more slaughter.
