not really. He lost to Floyd and then had a harder time with Diaz in the rematch than in the first and then beat a guy that Diaz had already beat.

So I think Martinez is the most legit opponent, followed by Berto, followed by the winner of Bradley/Alexander, then Marquez, then Mosley.

Pac gains nothing from beating Marquez.

JMM is desperate. Will get blown out at 140 or 147. Will get a big sum of money. He is old (like what most people like to say) and will only add criticism to Pac.

That's the most idiotic strategy I heard thus far.

Mosley also never gave Pacquaio 2 fights that were close enough to have controversy in the scorecards. Pac NEVER got the better of Marquez and whether or not he's looking for a payday for retirement or not or he's trying to be a thorn on Pac's side.

David Haye talked his way into a Klitschko fight (despite backing out twice). Antonio Tarver talked his way into a Roy Jones Jr. fight. Floyd Mayweather talked his way into a Oscar De la Hoya fight, etc.

A Closed mouth never gets fed.

Marquez and Pac have a history, He doesn't owe him any deference, he's danced with him twice and gave him 2 nights to remember.

This fight's not a priority fight and given Pacquiao's new responsibilities his camp is limiting his appearances to high profile fights as his schedule permits.

I think Pac should go ahead and knock Berto out first, they he can knock Marquez out. Void is training with the chicken in the Rocky movie. Void is afraid, very afraid.

JMM disrespecting Pac doesn't have anything to do w/ him getting a fight w/ Pac or not. It's all about the big bucks. Arum, being a shrewd businessman, is only thinking about the dollar signs. If JMM can deliver that PPV money Arum wants, he'll get this fight.

Based on May-Marquez and May-Mosley, it seems Mosley is a better draw than Marquez.

JMM won't kiss Pac's ass like the other Top Rank fighters do. No matter how JMM approaches this, he still won't be given the fight.

Fighters generally callout other fighters behind their backs........very few have the guts to do it face to face......

Now, Juan Manuel Marquez not only called out Pacquiao.....he did it face to face in the Phillipines with an adoring Pacquiao crowd in attendance.

.......the Pinoy crowd applauded Marquez when he did that.

......that was over two years ago. With the Pinoy crowd cheering, Pacquiao responded to JMM's challenge by stating, "anytime, anywhere."
    ......JMM is still waiting.:lol::lol::lol::lol:

Btw *******s, those Pinoy fans in attendance were going up to JMM, shaking his hand, asking for an autograph, and telling him, "you beat our fighter."

:lol:You *******s are still butthurt over a man who had the balls to callout Pacquiao in his very backyard.

Poor *******s, hating on Marquez because he had the balls to go up to Pacquiao and tell him, "I beat you, lets do it again for the fans."

    "Anytime, Anywhere!":rofl:rofl:rofl

A fight with Marquez nets more money for Pac than a fight with Mosley......

.......it does however not net more money for Bob Arum, who has to co-promote the fight with GBP or pay GBP millions in step aside money to promote it himself.

A Mosley fight nets Arum more money for himself, but it certainly does not net Pacquiao more money.

oh whatever ppl. its boxing not some dinner party. JJM just called him out cus he got pacs number just like any other boxer would do. all this crying about "he shouldnt do that" blah blah blah.

oh and yea he did go down 4 times by pac and still got up to make 0ne fight a draw and another one a contriversal lose.

good story for a good trilogy and good money coming in too cus they got two countries supporting both boxers. but no lets put pac in with 40 year old mosley for an easy win and fill bobs pockets up with another fight that ppl dont want to see.

Benoit, I agree with you 100 percent on Tact.

There's things in life how you conduct yourself with other people. Marquez basically shat on Pacquiao in public and IN the Philippines.

Sure it looked cool as hell but its backfired badly.

I know Filipinos don't like to be treated like that ESPECIALLY at home. You don't bite the hand that feeds you especially when they treat you like family.
