No way would have Calzaghe beaten this guy

Jones would be clueless against Calzaghe, seriously, the guy just lacks the skill to not be neutralised by Calzaghe's stay busy tactics.

His only hope is a fluke KO, which has never happened to a focused Calzaghe.

Super-human athlete with good skill loses to near super-human athlete with legendary skills, especially when at a stylistic disadvantage. (southpaw, busy fighter, too quick himself to be clowned or pot shotted)

Totally agree with regard to one punch power, but you keep straying away from the point. The argument was not that Calzaghe could/would have knocked Jones out, but whether Calzaghe effectively stopped fighting at the same intensity for the last 2-3 rounds when he could have kept going, whether a stoppage would have resulted or not. Jones showed great heart but I'm glad that he didn't have to carry on taking the same punishment for those last few rounds. And that's something that a man like Jeff Powell, who has been around the sport all his life, fully recognised at ringside amongst others. But I suppose if someone has 'no interest' in the views of people who are respected within their sport, then it is understandable that they will also have no respect for the opinions of people on this forum.
