I'm not arguing with you here... but why then, would Margarito be ranked above Paul Williams who has (a) won a title - albeit interim - in a higher weight dividsion (b) won head-to-head (c) beaten everyone who he has ever fought, and (d) sparked a half-way decent dude at 160????

It's all political bull**** to me. And yet, some of you fools still put Cotto up there higher :huh

I don't know. I'm inclined to think that Calzaghe would win if they were the same size, but Pacquiao has surprised me too many times in actual fights.

Pac would bust up that smiling face of Joe if they were the same size.. Joe's skill are not better compared to the great Mexicans Pac has put down.

Dinamita, how did you go from post #45, where you responded to me saying

who is better p4p = who is the better fighter

    with

    no it isn't

to post #59, where you say

To put it in my own words as simply as possible:

Pound-for-pound is for deciding who is BETTER between two boxers

Calzaghe is a bigger version of Pacquiao, only without the power.

Guys ..you all have made this complicated...Think of Joe at 130, the speed advantage disappears..the speed that made him an anomaly at 168 is gone, certainly doesnt have the power and technical abilities of the three mexican elite that Pac faced....

What does he offer to Pac that MAB and JMM didnt already have? Thats really is the crux of it

  10. Would Joe be fighting the 29 or 39 year old version of Pacquaio?

Remember that right straight from HOP that put Joe down?? That was nothing more than timing not pure handspeed. Now imagine Pacs freakishly fast straight left...I dont care how smart Joe is..no way

there's no way calzaghe would be able to stand in front of pac and pressure him with those slaps. he'd be in deep trouble if pac lands his punches.
