No WBA belt in Wlad's next fight?

Probably just a boxrec error/omission. Its been known before.

 

povetkin is the world champion

 

Alexander Povetkin won what was the vacant WBA title against Chagaev. Wlad holds the WBA super title.

(all these extra titles are just pure bull**** - but that's the explanation)

 

the WBA is the laughing stock of boxing, so what difference does it make

 

The WBA must of made good on their promise and stripped him for not fighting Povektin.

 

They have plenty of competition for that 'honor'.

 

Wonder if it is vacant now, although boxrec has been wrong before because Wlad vs Povetkin is still possible for the summer.

Seen Sourland is also saying what I have said that K2 doesn't want this to go to purse bid. Sour is talking tough about how he will put up a ton for the bid,etc.... Trying to get K2 to put up more money. They overbid the first time. Let Povetkin give Huck a rematch. At least it would be a more competitive, fan friendly fight.

 

Wlad is the WBA Champ nobody else.

Povetkin refuses to fight Wlad twice and now Sauerland again wants to dictate the Champ where the fight will take place, the TV and so on.

Povetkin is nothing else than a contender who was dropped the rankings by the IBF for not fighting Wlad!!!!

Wlad an povetkin fighing in april would be foolish on a promotion stand point, they will easly sell out a soccer stadium in the summer, so your talking 3 months later, twice the number of people, twice the money. Wlad got the right of it, just fight, don't worry who, just fight. He has beat everybody on top already, now there is a new group, an some still need some time. I think nice easy fight april, Some one big in the summer, if not povetkin, then helenius. Then a nice fight at the end of the year, I wouldn't mind chirsoa, yea hayes beat him, but that guy already hyped the fight with spitting the water in wlad's face, an if wlad does not knock him out till late, it just might help hype a rematch with with Haye in 2014, summer of course, stadium.

 

Every organization should only have the one champion in each division. Sadly the boxing public seem to encourage the scandalous practice of having more than one and the organizations just jump at the chance of adding more.
