To come to that conclusion, seriously proves just how deluded you are and unaware of the European boxing market. Joshua vs Fury was even labelled by Michael Buffer as the "Biggest of all time".
PAC isn’t Floyd and GGG isn’t Canelo. What’s your point. You guys are selective when it comes to what Bside deserves what. You being a ******* should understand you’re being a hypocrite. I always ask people just stay consistent.
Severely delusional if you think Fury is relevant in the UK, you do realize that many people in the UK hate his guts, right because of all of those sexist/racist things that he's said. Joshua is far far bigger than Fury ever was. And Wilder would bring in a huge fanbase from the United States. Deontay Wilder is second only to Joshua in the HW scene in terms of marketability. However, I don't expect you to know too much about boxing marketing anyways.
Joshua vs Fury would be bigger than Eubank vs Benn.... Which generated half a billion viewers worldwide, and a quarter of the population of the UK. So today, that quarter of the population would equate to around 16.5 million people. Only 900,00 watched Wilder's last fight.
@MVC! Can you create a poll? Guarantee Brits want to see Joshua v Fury more than Joshua v Wilder.....
Why would a boxing forum poll matter? What matters is that a Fury/Joshua fight would only pull in big numbers domestically, Joshua vs Wilder would bring international hype. That's the truth. There's a reason why Calzaghe/Kessler even in 2007 wasn't all THAT big outside of the UK/Denmark/Wales, that's cuz it failed to bring in fans internationally.
Wales is in the UK....your lack of ability to even know that tells me everything i need to know about your judgement on 'European fights' and anything going on outside of the US.
? You're an idiot, that literally had nothing to do with what I said, I'm specifically stating Wales because Calzaghe is from there. Do you want to correct my spelling too, spelling police? LMFAO
Wales is part of the UK...there's no need to list them separately. Calzaghe wasn't even a big draw domestically, so comparing him with AJ is hilarious. That's like comparing Wilder to Mayweather.
It was bigger in Wales than anywhere else in the UK, that's my point. No need to be so specific all the time. Ok, neither is freaking Tyson Fury okay LMFAO. I like Fury too but he is no draw, everyone knows that. Wilder and Joshua will bring in tons of fans, even non boxing fans. If you can't see that, you're very blind. You don't think all of the news stations would be hyped about that one?
Uh, no. He is known in the UK (Mostly in England and within boxing circles) and a very small population in Germany. I can guarantee you that most people outside of the boxing circles don't know who the hell he is. No one knows him in NA either, nor any other continent for that matter. You're like the kind of people who constantly tell me Canada knows David Freaking Lemieux and Adonis Freaking Stevenson LMFAO. P.S, no one outside of very small circles in Montreal knows of them. I live in Toronto, I can guarantee you no one knows them AT ALL, that goes for all other provinces/territories. Quit overstating the popularities of fighters, they are barely known nowadays outside of boxing circles (With very small exceptions like May/Pac/Joshua maybe)
The only person overstating individual boxers here is yourself. Wilder is only known in Alabama. Fury is known throughout the UK.....his traveller roots actually play a large part in that.
You just said Europe LMFAO. Now it's the UK, okay. What next, Manchester..................his street.........his house? Fury isn't a big draw okay, no way no how. He is ONLY known for being controversial with his sexist/religious /racist comments.
