The problem with these houses that a lot of athletes and celebrities build, is that they over customize the **** out of them to the point where they lose their actual resale value. Riddick Bowe for example, put a ****ing kichen in his bedroom. Now who in the hell would want to buy that house?
I'm not sure if you're joking, but damn. Probably had the bathroom removed and a small Burger King installed instead.
I read it somewhere years ago. Chances are, he couldn't afford to stay in it, as I believe he's in financial trouble too. Roy Jones is another one. I saw his house on a TV show called " famous pads " or something like that. Its a show about celebrity mansions. The guy has a basketball court adjacent to his living room........Jesus Christ atsch
Yes...the construction was already under way by 1994, and it was all complete by around October or November that year. Insert obligatory James Toney joke here.
Jeez i doubt Bill Gates even has a house that big? Holy is eventually gonna have to sell it, he can't keep fighting, without sustaining permanent damage ! **** the guy's 46 and gonna get his ass kicked on Saturday, he's at the age where he should be playing golf not fighting:nut
Listen, if I was being given title-shot after title-shot, I would keep on boxing too. No wonder he still thinks he's a top contender..
And when they're not really rich, they do something about it and downsize their expenses. Hence the problem.
exactly. if holy downsized his lifestyle, he'd be fine. look at Tyson, guy's been bankrupt a couple of times, owed/owes all kinds of people money, but on the recent E60 show they said tyson is able to live comfortably in an upper middle class/upper class lifestyle in a nice house with decent things etc (sure he is basically on an allowance but at least he is comfortable and doesn't have to fight or work too much).
Really, Holyfield is a disgrace to mankind. The way a man can be given that much money and the way a man can't even manage all that money. It's pathetic.
