I think your being generous even giving it 4 rounds i would say the Sergio of last night Gennady finishes him of by round 2.

 

Martinez wouldn't be able to walk if he fought Golovkin and now Cotto just made himself Golovkin's first target.

 

GG might have KO'd last night's Marravilla inside 90 seconds if he shifted to 3rd gear

 

I am glad that Sergio did not fight Gennady great decision by team Sergio gennadys punch would of sent shockwaves down to Sergios knee.

Let me just say that everyone in boxing is ducking GGG. WHy? Because all the hype.

Am I kidding? Yes. This guy has nothing on anyone let alone to get in the ring with a HOF fighter. Until he fights a TRUE genuine top 10 guy I dont want to hear about him anymore . is anyone else sick of GGG? Who the hell did he beat to get such a following?! Learn me please. It wasn't really Martinez, it was DiBella. He said that there was no way he'd let Sergio come back from a lengthy lay-off to fight "a monster" like Golovkin. Instead. he took a fight which presumably paid his fighter more and that he thought he had a better chance of winning. In other words, he was doing his job.

 

i dont know man...i have a feeling Martinez was affraid to win because he had GGG sitting & waiting. Do you guys not realize what a monster GGG is?!

While Sergio doesn't go out of his way to call guys out unless they're huge paydays, he'll gladly fight anyone. DiBella wanted nothing to do with Golovkin and couldn't have been any more clear about it.

People may think GGG is overhyped, but the boxing insiders whose job it is to gauge potential opponents for their fighters know the risk involved with facing him.

 

Depends on whether you choose to go by TBRB or Ring. If the former, than only Macklin and Proksa were Top 10. If the latter, you can add Stevens to the list. That said, Geale is a good test for him.
