    Yes
If Nob beat Frenchman he probably fight for Japan heavyweight title on new year eve against winner of Fujimoto and Takehara rematch.

I didn't see the fight, but I heard he lost a competitive decision. He was 206 and his opponent was 232

I believe Ishida lost his last fight which could have landed him the Japanese heavyweight belt bout. so what's the problem?

:think I am not. Ishidas team knows that Ishida is next in line for the Japanese HW belt so why risk it?
Plus Ishida is 1-4 in his last 5 and has not beaten anyone of note since Kirkland in 2011.

1-4 on paper only. He should fight heavyweight get used to heavyweight strength. Take fight as opportunity to learn not only get win.

    Bump.

He beat the Frenchman, although based on the one report I read, it was a very close fight... (although they said the same about the Ioka fight and I've since heard from everyone that Ioka won decisive)

Need to find both of those to watch.

    Gooooooo Nobuhiro!
