For all the flack Lemieux is getting for losing to Rubio and Alcine, remember than neither of them walked over him: Lemieux was ahead when he was stopped in the 7th vs Rubio, and the Alcine fight was a close decision with Lemieux losing the late rds due to lack of stamina.

So i think GGG will have to be cautious in the early rds because up to now, no one ever backed up Lemieux in the early going or stood in front of him for much of the rd.

Should GGG win inside 6 rds, it would be a tremendous perf.

aye, and that's one of the reasons this is such a good match up to gauge both of these fighters :bbb

This is the type of match up that needs to be made more often at all weights :good

This. Odds are in GGG favor but there is still so many different possible outcomes how the fight goes. This is the best fight made in 2015.

Both of them might go out trying to prove a point.
This could go like Hagler-Hearns 2, with either getting hurt, and the fight ending in the fourth.

Yes; i'm calling GGG by 4th rd KO. :good

Alcine dominated Lemieux from A to B. Those score cards were a joke.

Lemieux didn't have a plan B against Rubio when his early assault didn't work. Rubio walked over him after that.

I'm a GGG fan but enough hyping Lemieux, he's no match to Golovkin.

    True story.

This one ends before the 6th and I will be surprised if Lemmy gets to the bell to start round 4.

I think GGG is all wrong for Lemieux....

He will outbox him then stop him late on...

I looked at the Alcine match twice, and I had Lemieux winning by one round. The judges all had it by one round or two, and it was a split decision. Really close fight.

Lemieux dominated the first 6 rounds agains Rubio and gassed.
