Nobody has anything to say about those 3.3 million viewers for PBC?

It's not some though is it? if we got Thurman vs Porter type match ups even 20% of the time I'd be cool with it but we don't.

His stable is big enough to make lots of big fights that for whatever reason he's thus far decided not to make.

And other promoters like Arum similarly robbing the fans of the fights they deserve is somehow proof that Al is great? SMH.

 

al is giving us more than any of these other guys as far as I can see

al is putting good fights on cable...and like Ive mentioned many of this "paper mistmatches" have turned out to be entertaining...some even "wildly" entertaining.....

hes doing pretty good by the fans if yer looking at things objectively

im not here to tell you al is doing this for the fans...like he loves the fans...and hes different.....but hes putting out a pretty decent product...and hes shown hes not afraid to mix his guys up in there in some tough fights

 

Finally PBC put on a match that wasn't a mismatch and the results showed. Hopefully they wake up and start doing this on the regular. I will tune in for that but if they go back to trash count me out.

al Is putting good/quality cards on regular cable....I don't care what his motives are...they are good cards mixed in with showcases......hes doing well....you cant see that because you want to lump him in with all of the other promoters/managers who are "only in it for themselves".....im not worried about motives...just quality....al is putting out some good quality....more than the others for sure

We agree on three of those.

Thurman vs washed up, never that good Guerrero doesn't pass my litmus test as anything more than a solid undercard fight.

Degale vs Dirrell was a good match to make and Garcia vs Peterson turned out to be a good match up.

Broner? Ha. I have no interest in seeing who he loses to unless he was put in with Khan. Then it'd be good to watch as at least he'd have a chance of a come from behind knockout win whilst getting tooled.

His fights are getting better but then again that's what we should expect. As fans we're continually done over by the greedy money men.
