It's Haymon. These haters aren't giving him credit. But, they are secretly thankful.

If it were GGG or Kovalev yes, But that's because Ward haters use them to degrade Ward. Don't act like those threads would actually be praising GGG and Kovalev rather than defaming Ward. Those peoples Agenda's are perfectly clear.

Lomachenko on the other hand, I would group with Thurman and Porter. That's because as far as I can tell, most people like those fighters. There's no hate group against those fighters that people need too rub statistics in the face of. So that's it. Everyone these forums are more interested in proving each other wrong than actually discussing boxing. Since there's nobody out to get Thurman, Porter, or Loma we don't get to see threads rubbing their success in the face of their hate group.

I am no fan of Hayman (nor am I a fan of Showtime or HBO) but I hope his plan to make boxing appeal to the masses again works. That way we can keep seeing guys getting concussion fighting:happy

It's a great step in the right direction.

Now, he should keep the ball rolling by letting/forcing his top 154 guys to face off each other instead of recycling Vanes and Trout against them non-stop. There's some great matchups to be made there, just make the damn fights.

Props to Haymon, and as the fighters say, you don't see any fighters complaining just envious fans

Great job posting these. The long term trend shows how promoters are fighting over a shrinking pie using safer matchmaking (for fear of risking their draws), which really exacerbates the problem.

In the US. The numbers are fractions of what other countries have been getting. Heck Uchiyama ON TAPE DELAY got 4.3million in his last fight...

I do. I think it's great. I hope big Al can put together some more great matches and bring in more casuals. I'll always root for him if he puts together great cards.

Right, because in the course of bashing GGG, Ward is mentioned, with inane nonsense like "GGG ducked Ward " so then people defend GGG and inevitably have to debunk the Ward comment and thus...become a Ward "basher". Weak sauce. The truth is that nobody is particularly excited or offended by Ward, except for people like myself who dig the defensive style and (sometimes) ugly inside the pocket boxing and grappling.
