Lara-Canelo was NOT a robbery, I actually think that Lara was his own worst enemy that night, if he actually had more ***** he really could have outboxed Canelo but his negativity cost him the fight.

For some reason, some boxing fans think that moving the laterals and avoiding a beatdown is boxing the pants off a fighter.
Seems like to me that a lot of fans think that as long as the perceived boxer moves to the laterals and avoids getting hit with big shots, that boxer doesn't have to exhert an effective offense.

In the great majority of the rounds, Lara did zilch offensively.
    NADA!!!!

    When did it have credibility?

    Honest question.

Fights have been fixed in numerous different ways and fighters have been cheating for an edge in any way possible since day 1. Even the business end of it is routinely crooked. Has been for longer than any of us have been alive.

Fans only want to believe it's on the level because if you acknowledge those things, it seems illogical to follow the sport at all. That's why a big chunk of them are in denial about it. They only pull up the dirty aspects when it suits them to defend a fighter they like or slam one they don't.

He was great at selling a fight. Then he got in the ring with Oscar and De La Hoya stopped him.

If Mayorga was a better fighter, he'd have been huge.

    Bull****
Hopkins wasn't even trying. He totally carried de la Hoya. If you can't see that then quit watching boxing.
