Let alone in the 2nd round!! good lord... and he's been in there with top 10 opponents like Andrade, Charlo, Lara!! H8ers gonna H8
He said GGG was the hardest puncher he ever faced. Only a certain kind of style has any chance to beat Golovkin, and that's a diminished Golvokin. Vanes does not have that style. If you fight Golovkin on his turf, you will be decimated. Credit to Vanes, he didn't run. He came to fight.
true, but he knew what he was signing up for.. you can also say that GGG was coming off a 8 month layoff after a brutal war with Canelo ... didn't seem to phase him though
And getting activity and weight in return. I don't blame GGG, but let's not pretend that this was any more relevant to his resume than Wade was.
it just goes to prove how unprepared the new generation of so called talent would fare against a prime GGG. that is all.
Yep was predictable but a younger Vanes had never been TKOd before and has fought Quality opponents end of story...I actually thought the Fight would go the distance or at least 10 rounds...
I figured it would be lucky to go four. No way in hell was Vanes lasting half the distance...Especially coming off a 2 year layoff. He performed better than expected in the first round, but once GGG found his groove, that was all she wrote.
Well...it will help their cause to be more active before stepping into the ring with a beast like the God of War.
depends who he fights, the ones he fought before were obviously incapable of doing it, they barely won. haha
They were also junior middleweights, and Vanes was also more active. Don't pretend that those aren't factors.
