I don't think Charlo struggled v Vanes, I think he plain lost.

Nobody has ever offered Vanes a title shot after a 2 year layoff, coming off a few losses and a full weight division higher.

 

I don't think GGG thinks or claims the Vanes win is worth particularly much either.

It was sort of impressive that he stopped Vanes early, but on the other hand his timing was poor before the stoppage, so ...

 

Golovkin beat El Pollo, all El Pollo did was run like hell. Did you see El Pollo's face when he landed his best right hand on Golovkin and Golovkin walked right throught it?! Golovkin made the fight, El Pollo ran, Golovkin landed more punches, Harold Lederman had it 8 rounds to 4 Golovkin, Paulie had it 9 rounds to 3 Golovkin, I had it 9 rounds to 3, Nacho Beristain had Golovkin winning, the fans had Golovkin winning, they booed El Pollo! Hell, El Pollo ran like a chicken, not a rooster either, more like a hen! No wonder he was on PEDS, or probably was on PEDS, he failed two tests! I guess El Pollo felt he needed to cheat, but Oscar owned the judges, referee, boxing commission and we all know that Byrd was a joke!
