Both Wlad and Vitali probably could hit a lot harder then they do. However their style is too orthodox. I think Vitali would have more trouble letting loose if he wanted to, his arm-punching style is probably deeply ingrained. If Wlad was less concerned with defence, I think he would be an even more devastating puncher. He would probably also lose. Also, they are not the only boxers who have held back. I am sure others need to show come restraint in the interests of control.

Show me a post with these "ALOT" of fans. You think "ALOT" of fans thought a 260 lb 40 year old Briggs had a chance against Vitali? Where is the proof?
Good thing there is more to boxing than just hitting hard otherwise shavers would be an ATG instead of just an asterisk with his punching power.
