I agree you must get up then make your case, but on the replay to me it looked like Martinez followed through with a left hand and the hair of Martinez not even the head but the hair looked to hit Cintron in the face. though as a fighter you know when you got hit with a good shot
Aren't you the same guy who gave me hell for calling Cintron Baby Kermit & making fun of him for crying?
i never dissed martinez i think martinez is a hell of a guy but i think at WW this fight would be a little closer i think cintron lost but at WW he is faster then at 154
Ive not seen this fight but it sounds like Cintron made a ***** of himself. Will see if its on youtube.
And I will still give you **** becuase you do not know what its like to lose period, lossing a fight is probably the most emotional experience you will ever experience especially when a title is on the line especially when its your first time lossing.
This guys a clown. His behavior was pathetic and skills are greatly overrated. I hope he gets humbled in his next fight.
After looking through the dozens of Cintron/Martinez threads, there's still something from the fight I still don't understand; ok, fine, there's *tons* of things from that entire fight card that will never make sense, but humor me here... So Cintron gets hit with the strangest left hand shot I've ever seen and possibly an elbow. He does a West Side Story dance number to the ropes with a big fistprint on his face and sinks down to pout. The ref who amazed me by giving dressing-room instructions in the ring and couldn't stop talking throughout the fight does a slow count to 10. Ok, maybe it's a KO or, if you're Max Kellerman, you've got no idea. The ref walks Cintron over to his corner and waves hi to his mom. Maybe he's stopped the fight or, if you're Max Kellerman, you have no idea. Then Cintron's entire corner jumps into the ring, telling him to "be a professional," at which point he has a throroughly professional hissy fit. Then the ref takes the scorecards from the judges, plays 52 pickup and hands them back. Then Fan-Man flies into the ring, Golata sucker-punches Papa and a bunch of Valentine's Day singing candygrams show up to Hershey kiss Cintron's tears away. Soooo, my question is: KO or not, isn't the corner jumping into the center of the ring, bell or not, a disqualification? :huh Lennox Lewis says, "Definitely," but I don't know for certain. Can anybody who knows the wacky ways of Buchanan-voting Florida rules clue me in on this?
i say yes. but apparently its oka on certain occasions such as the mayweather v judah incident as well. but in the case of witherspoon v arreola it's not. gotta be a big enough draw i guess to get away with major infraction. but thats just my opinion.
