Nobody in the history of boxing can beat the best version of Lewis. Nobody.

I could rewrite it 100 times if that will make it any more convincing to you.

Would Lewis be beaten in your opinion? No. But try to realise that he CAN be beaten. He was beaten twice so he CAN be beaten, it can't get any more simple than that. It's not Klitardism or trolling to bring up Lewis' losses, its fact. He can be beaten. Fact.

You can say all the if's but's and maybe's you want, 'if he was fighting Louis he would be motivated,' etc, truth is Louis Ali Holmes etc could (not would per say, could) land a punch to KO Lewis. If you can't see that then I'm sorry for you.

No man. That's not what i meant. I actually wrote out paragraphs that fully described the weaknesses and strengthes of each fighter and what would LIKELY have happened if they met.

You can't just say things like 'anyone can land a KO Punch'

Well Buster Douglas knocked out Prime Tyson yes?

If Buster can do it so can Tua. Tua can probably KO a Prime Tyson?

See. That's not how it works. No **** ANYONE can land a ko punch. Ross Purrity knocked out Wladimir, Tommy Morrison is much better then Purrity. Well if Purrity can do it, SO CAN TOMMY. Why not actually try to break down a well thought out fight between

Lewis and Louis. Instead of just saying 'oh if MCCALL can KD Lewis, so can Louis'

You know why? Because you can't. Your mind is probably not enlightened enough to figure out HOW Louis can beat Lewis. So you are only left with spamming 1-2 liners like

WELL IF RAHMAN CAN DO IT, LOUIS WITH HIS POWER CAN TOO'

Explain to me what a 'Prime Holyfield' could have done that a elite Holyfield couldn't do in that first fight where Evan lost 10 of 12 rounds and had to suck off the judges to get a draw?

Swallow this time, so the draw becomes a win?

Already broke down Louis, so no need.

Tyson and Ali I will break down soon.,

Have you watched the Louis vs Max Schmeling fight every time Louis through a jab he would carry his hand low and then got ko in the 12 round and guess what by a right hand. Louis would not last 4 rounds with lewis, different era.
Larry Holmes for the first time would be out jabbed by a Manny Steward trained Lewis as he would meet someone with a much longer reach than his freakish own (Holmes 81" with Lewis 84") and check out the Spinks fight if you think that Holmes had the best jab in history. Yeah right!!!!

Lewis' two losses are what stop him from being truly appreciated. His two fluke losses to the ho-hum duo of Oilver McCall and Hassim Rahman are what cost him, as while other ATG heavyweights have lost in similar fashion, they have never lost titles while at a similar stage of their career to such poor opposition.

I would probably agree however that Lewis at his absolute motivated best could beat any ATG heavyweight at their best including Ali, Joe Lewis, Jack Johnson, Larry Holmes, Holyfield, Foreman, Marcaino, Dempsey and Fraiser.

His resume is excellent and his right hand was as deadly as anything ever in the sport. Many believed that Razor Ruddock would be the man post-Tyson era but the Lewis that fought him on that night destroyed him and many of the ATG HW's would suffer the same fate.

He beat a wide range of champions in Holyfield, Vitali and Tyson and cleaned out guys just below the great list comprehensively in the likes of Tucker, Bruno, Morrison, Mercer, Golota, Briggs, Grant, Tua, and rematches against McCall and Rahman.

So while I don't think you can call him the greatest heavyweight of all time, head to head, when considering his size advantages two over greats of previous generations, everyone at their best, I agree. He beats everyone.

    :good

I'm a big ban of Lewis but this thread is a joke. Foreman, especially Marciano beat Lewis.

Exactly. Great post man. LMAO, it's ****ing surreal reading some of these haters spewing their random garbage. 90% of them only watched like 2 Lennox fights and NO Joe Louis fights and they come to conclusions that a Louis could have beaten Lennox.

Overall though I am EXTREMELY imprssed so far at the posters who agree and who have posted logic instead of rubbish. You are one of them. Thanks agains for the good post.

You just defeated your own argument with that bit in the red. Apparently anyone can land a KO punch, but what, they can't land it on Lewis?

    You are deluded.

You should end this thread now I reckon.
