Nobody is ever impressed by Bute. I am not impressed by Ward either.

Magee was thinking the same as you do. His strategy was based on that. Ask Magee if Bute was tired before the KO.

You can think what you want but the fact is Bute had an allergic reaction prior to the Andrade fight and don't expect him to be tired like that again: it'll never happen. Anybody who sparred with Bute could tell you he has an excellent stamina. Again, think what you want but if stamina is the key for you, your predictions about Bute won't be accurate.

 

4 KDs + dominating 9 of the 10 rounds is way better then the close card KO Froch pulled againts Magee.

 

i don't think he has bad stamina. i believe that he had a virus in the first Andrade fight. Andrade didn't knock him out either, he beat the count. a lot of people still go on about that ****... can't they count or something?

 

i'm talking about the KO, nothing more.

Oddly enough... and I know it may sound crazy. I am impressed with both Ward and Bute.

i like watching bute fight.... i simply hate his fans thinking hes the best, while fighting guys ranked in the upper 10-15 in the IBF...and they can give you a zillion reasons why he wasnt in the original super 6, why he didnt come in as a replacent, why he fights brian mgee, jesse brinkley and that guy who got knocked out in 1 round by bika...
and i repeat...i like bute, is is in the mix of the elite, and would hold his own and who knows beat alot of the top guys...but if he never fights any while they continue to fight each other...it gets boring hearing about that i will have to wait 2 years, or 18 months for him to fight the winner, then a possible kessler fight , now no kessler fight..WTF
either the guy has horribe business advisiors, or really good ones by protecting him, or hes hard to deal with or he just has horrible luck and everyone else is hard to deal with...bottom line is he is always gonna catch crap while fighting the crap hes been fighting

 

lets see. ward is younger, a gold medalist, has beaten better competition, has actually participated in a tournament showcasing the best SMW's in the world, is taking on Froch who is either number one or two right now(Ward being the other), and hasnt been knocked down since 2005. yeah lol bute is much better LOL. i guess magee, brinkley, and mendy are future hall of famers LOL.

 

Most of it is because people side with their nationality. Being an American, I could never stand it when people say Calzaghe sucked.

Which fans ? Can you name the posters that mention Bute is the best ? All I keep reading is that most of his fans presently rate Froch & Ward ahead of him...as they should be.

Ken Hershman was quoted on why he wasn't in the Super 6, don't blame his fans for reporting that fact.

The main reason he gave was that he wanted to work with familiar promoters and Bute's team wasn't part of that clique. He said it, not Bute's fans...

That also explains when Taylor withdrew, he invited another Dibella fighter (Green), and then when Dirrell got out, he invited again another Dibella guy (Johnson).
