Wilder even copied that arms raised, pull down move. I never noticed that before.

Just hope he doesn't start shaking after Luis cracks him one, because I doubt it'd be for show then.

If he was then someone would have posted the full presser. Problem is no one is interested in the presser. Wilder's only attraction is that everyone wants his glass jaw to be shattered. Outside of that (presser, behind the scenes, interviews) no one cares about this fight. Wilder is simply not charismatic and doesn't appeal to fans.

'the presser' lol.. Where was the Krushers press conference thread? Nobody cares about pressers. People care about Wilder , weather they like or hate him , they are drawn to him beyond control.
Lets see which RBR saturday night has more "appeal" to the fans.
If nobody cares about Wilder , then the Kovalev rbr is sure to get more replies.

And they have sold what, 12,000 out of 19,000 tickets at Barclays? Wilder needs a new promoter/manager ASAP. The team behind him are costing him countless millions. He was drawing bigger crowds with Golden Boy before he won the title. After this fight, win or lose, if Wilder doesn't sign with Golden Boy or Matchroom, he's going to end up a broke sorry case. Suliaman, Di Bella, Haymon, King, way too many corrupt middlemen between Wilder and the big bags of money he should already have.

The stupid mask and those drug dealer italian designer jackets are costing him millions. Whoever came up with this "Wilder persona" that was developed in the last 3 years did a terrible job. His pathetic attempts at marketing are cringeworthy.

The childish windmills, his apparent glass jaw, the atrocious footwork and his mid-air slam-dunk style jumps to land hooks on the inside of course don't help.

I honestly think he has been trying his hand at promoting himself because no one else is. Having Di Bella, Haymon, King, and Sulaiman behind him is like having a funeral home trying to throw a 21st birthday party, not a single one of them has any idea how to reach a new generation of modern boxing fans. Joshua and Alvarez are reaching for the stars while Wilder is going back to the Jurassic period, which is a shame because he is marketable, but as you say, ATM, it's cringe-worthy.

By far the WBA light heavyweight championship doubleheader on HBO.

Showtime might not even be worth cluttering up my DVR for. I'll probably only need to see a minute of highlights of Wilder vs. Ortiz leading up to whichever gets KTFO, and Dirrell vs. Uzcategui II just doesn't interest me in the least.

I saw some of it. The Ortiz part mainly. I switched off when Wilder started running his mouth again. I want to see him do his talking in the ring. Saying that, I can't blame him for trying to shift some late tickets, with his promotional team doing next to nothing.

It was nice what Deontay said about giving Ortiz the shot because they had the ailing daughter thing in common.

    Looking forward to Saturday night!
