Nobody wants to Beterbiev

Even if Bivol wanted the fight with Beterbiev,Hearn would do his absolute best to prevent the Undisputed fight happening. Hearn is more than happy to lobby the sanctioning bodies for Beterbiev to fight anybody but Bivol !

 

The door is open. Its only the WBC putting up an obstacle.

 

Bivol has already beaten the best of the bests in light heavyweight, except Beterbiev. Plus, he has beaten the superstar Canelo.

I don't think Bivol and Beterbiev should fight each other, they're both from the East, Russia. They should fight Western fighters instead. It's more fun and interesting, East vs West.

 

I don´t think it´s that bad. If Hearn could bring the fight to DAZN, he most certainly would.
But TR is in the way and Hearn will gladly walk away from the fight.

 

Canelo doesn,t want any Beterbeef.....

 

What? The whole point in going up to 175 again was to win the WBA belt and then unify, becoming a champion in division.
If Canelo is willing to fight Beterbiev again, then why would he be afraid of a 38 year old Beterbiev who just had a war with Anthony fricking Yarde.
"Beterbiev hits hard" Yeah, so did Golovkin and Canelo fought him.

 

Yeah and then a fellow Caucasian Russian beast at 175 will take his place. Giorgi Kushitashvili and Sharabutdin Ataev are looking really strong at the world championships right about now.

Is Bivol better than Gvozdyk? There's not a single man on Bivol's record who 2019 Gvozdyk wouldn't have been heavily favoured to beat knowing what we know now. Gvozdyk probably has a better LHW win than Bivol (Stevenson away), stepped up to fight Beterbiev and is bigger and more powerful, with an Olympic medal. Bivol has been a belt holder since 2017 but has been chasing Canelo (a natural 160/168 pounder) since 2018 at the latest and is still doing so to this day in 2023. Beterbiev will be 39 post-Smith, have accumulated huge wear amateur and pro as a career pressure fighter and is ever more tight at the weight, having needed a 2nd weigh in for the Browne fight when he was 36. He should probably retire right now but if he insists on going on for a couple more fights, he should move up to cruiser for a Kovalev trilogy fight post-Smith.

 

How can he beat him if he won't even fight him?

 

He'll fight Beter, the ball is in his (Beters) court. Arum has to make the call and get the ball rolling. Besides though if the fight did happen it wont be for full undisputed, since suliabum wants to be a ***** and not sanction the fight for the WBC, since Bivol is a " Russian" fighter right. Bivol is from Indio CA for ****s sake! Sanction the fight foo.
