Nobody would be complaining about Mormeck if Wlad was fighting four times a year!

So would Wlad. Calling Arreola out just a few days after the Haye fight and only choosing Mormeck when his calls weren't returned by about 6/7 other contenders, including ARREOLA.

 

There are more than 6-7 better contenders than Mormeck. In fact, there are more like 16-17. He should have kept the phonebook open. :deal

 

Yeah, I agree. Even a fringe contender or untested prospect with a high win/loss ratio might've been more interesting.
But what if Wlad got Monsour, Price, Fury, Ustinov, Pulev, Wach, or Rodriguez. All undefeated, but all untested.

He goes on to brutally KO them, or dominate them from 1-12 similarly to Haye/Sultan, and he gets a ton of **** for fighting an untested/scared fighter.

It's a lose/lose situation unless Valuev were to come back or Haye2 could somehow be sold.

Arreola is a no show, and has NEVER beaten, even closely an Oquendo/Tiggy type fighter....still he's give first opportunity for Wlad in Nov, but declines saying he has other avenues to explore. Yeah, we know what other avenue that is. The WBA kiddie Avenue.

 

all these guys say "NO" and he can hardly get 3 fights... you think he could get 4.... no way with boxing politics, training camps, stadiums, TV dates, vitalis fights....

It make me laugh at how you think its so easy to just add another fight or 2 a year.... NOT THAT SIMPLE

 

Let's face it.
Every opponent who didn't refuse the offer would have been laughed away.
I hate the idea of Mormeck as an opponent, because there's no way he can win, and it's a lose lose situation for Wlad.

If Wladdy doesn't knock him out inside 6 rounds he's done badly and gets stick for it.
If he does KO him early, then Mormeck was a totally worthless opponent, and Wlad gets stick for it.
Zeus forbid Wlad losing by some freak series of events, it would be devastating.

Mormeck is a bad choice out of a bad bunch of options, but we have to live with it.
If Wlad wasn't soo much better as the rest of the bunch he wouldn't have had such difficulty finding opponents.

The brothers are there own promoter (KMG) which already puts on 5 -6 Klitschko fights a year between Wlad and Vitali

'Fighting' 4 times a year? It would have been nice if he'd have actually turned up once and fought Haye, rather than spend the fight landing nothing whilst hiding behind a jab, hiding from a man half his size.

Both him and Haye were complicit in stinking the place out.

 

Really? Maybe its true there are 16-17 better opponents but I challenge you to name 3 that would have taken the fight.

I predict you could name 3 but all 3 would be less deserving than Mormeck in terms of resume and accomplishments.
