After Wach went the distance with Klitschko, there has been a lot of chin talk lately. How about Ishida?

Just looked at his record on Boxrec, he's fought: James Kirkland, Rigoberto Alvarez, Paul Williams and Dmitry Pirog, all big punchers, and went the distance with all of them (expect Kirkland we all know what happened.) Not only that, but he has never been stopped in his ENTIRE career.

Is their a case to be made that he has one of the best chins in boxing today??

Let me know what you think.

P.S. - I would love it if you gave me a list of your Top 5/10 chins in boxing today.

    Thanks.

Julio Cesar Chavez Jr probably has one of the best chins in boxing. Vitali klitschko is up there as well.

Wach was defensive all night, it's a lot harder to knock someone out like that. If he were to actually box with Wladimir punch for punch, he'd be down for a twenty count. Verdict - overrated.

If he was being defensive, how much will he get hit not being defensive?

Not much, they'd be scraping him off the canvas. Round eight, seen it many times already, and Wach was ducking and dodging and deflecting a lot of those shots. Watch Donaire vs. Mathebula, when Mathebula takes a huge bomb across the chin while planted, if not moving towards the punch. Now that's a chin, maybe broken, but a heck of a chin. I'm surprised he made it out alive in that fight from the bombs he took.

The few Japanese fighters I've seen seem to have good chins.
