Disgusting how Mchunu was robbed of his revenge and how TWO different fighters were allowed to pick at the bones of Makabu for a strap thereafter.

Yes, Mchunu was robbed of revenge and his dream of becoming a world champion

Yeah, it sucks that Mchunu got stiffed, but at least it was Gevor who put him out of his misery. He deserves this after getting screwed out of rightful wins both times he's stepped up against Wlodarczyk and Briedis.

Briedis was just a terrible fight. The only real losers were the fans. Mchunu losing that one was a highway robbery. Not really any justice done in here tonight, as Makabu had absolutely zero business being there.

Canelo would have beaten Makabu when that fight was touted pre-Bivol. thank God we didn’t get that timeline.

This was just sad and it really puts into perspective how shot Makabu was going into the Jack fight, and in retrospect how underwhelming that win was. But I'm happy for Mikaelyan, because he should be undefeated, and from a technical standpoint, might be the best Cruiser.

Makabu wasn't shot. He was never good to begin with. Got knocked out by Eddie's Hearns ***** years back and robbed Cieslak because they were in his home country. Good riddance to bad rubbish.

Bellew for all of his faults, was a big puncher and only lost three times, barely to Clev, and to Adonis and Usyk, two kingpins of their divisions, so you are underrating him a bit.... despite him being a cringey prat, he's still a decent fighter. Also, getting close decisions against Papin, Cieslak and Mchunu isn't a sign of Makabu being rubbish, it's a sign of them all being quality fighters themselves. Makabu went from winning by KO in slugfests against huge puncher's like Kudryashov and Durodola. Now he's getting beaten up and stopped by Badou Jack and Noel Gevor. No..... that's the epitome of being shot.

He is. Signed the contract last year. This title run will be a big dissapointment.
