the rumors are that nogueira has been getting knocked out in sparring sessions, if this is true then couture will stop him easily in the first round. thoughts?
Irrespective of whether the rumors are true or not, it's quite clear that all of the punishment that Nog has taken over his career has caught up to him. I really don't think the guy should be fighting much longer.
Nog was great in his prime, overcoming so many difficult situation to defeat all opponents except Fedor. He was the guy no one can get pass to reach The Emperor. But unfortunately he is like a ghost of himself just waiting to be stop. He should retire soon.
i hope its not true,i think nogueria should take liek 2 years off if he loses this fight to try to let all his previous injuries heal and to get his state of mind right again
If hes getting KO'd in sparring than I dont think they are sparring the way they should be. Regardless, if Nog cant beat a guy like Mir he should retire.
That's just silly. Don't believe nonsense like this when you hear it. Do you think that if a fighter was getting knocked out repeatedly in sparring... that they would keep him actively sparring in that manner in order to get knocked out multiple times? C'mon... that **** doesn't even make sense.
I'm always very skeptical about "rumours" that come of out of training camps. Think of how many times we've heard about boxers having bad camps, getting knocked down in sparring, and looking like crap. Usual they pan out to mean nothing when the actual fight happens. Still, I thought after the Mir fight that Nog should retire. He looked absolutely arthritic in the cage. The years have taken their toll.
Looks to be in pretty damn good shape to me.... This content is protected This content is protected This content is protected This content is protected This content is protected This content is protected
He looks good Widdow a bit slim compared to his first 3 UFC bouts. I think the best Nogueira possible is coming to fight Saturday.
He has NO reflexes left. But in all seriousness, that was Anderson Silva he was training with so if he's the one that KO'd him....big woop!
