2 major staph infections for him in a very short time; hope it's just bad luck and not poor hygiene, because if its the later then a lot of the very good fighters he trains with are at risk too.

Poor hygiene i guarantee it. Staph infections are no joke. But fighters need to start taking their health alot more seriously espcially the Wrestlers. Clubbed ears is not a Soldiers stripes. It means your a nasty ******* who couldnt be asked to get his ear syringed. Guys wear them like a badge of honour. Look at Randleman. That guy was literally on deaths door due to Staph and simply not taking care of himself over the years. They pulled a whole load of **** from his lungs and he ignored a bunch of injuries he had accumulated and preferred to take opiates instead.

Getting your ear syringed is apparently really painful. Leonard got cauliflower ears after the Duran fight and said getting them syringed was the most painful thing he has ever been through.

If you are rolling seriously for several hours a day, getting them drained isn't always an option; for some guys it comes right back, and for all guys it means some sort of time off, only for it happen again.

Randleman definiately should have gone to a Dr. sooner; he had a fungus growing inside his lung, feeding on his own blood, because his rib punctured his lung when he smashed his SUV.

I wish I could find a picture, it makes his staph picture look like childs play.

    found it.

this his his back, that is the fungus being removed.
This was living in his lung for a year or so, people wonder why he had bad cardio.
