A prime Nog beats Schaub like he stole something, but we know this isn't the same fighter. Sadly I can see Schaub finishing him, even in his home country.

Means nothing. Prime CC would have turned his head into a football. The fact he was LOOSING a decision speaks far more about the huge gulf in quality between veterans like CC Nog and Brendan. Brendan's garbage. If he kept his mouth shut he might be sufferable. Im just hoping for a sweet gator roll. Although the likely outcome is Nog gets stopped as Brendan can punch.

It means, and the point I was trying to make, that Schaub may be in a lot of trouble if he can't use his speed to win. Cro Cop looked awful, and almost won. Minotauro will make an example out of his younger foe if Schaub can't find a way to win using his speed.

Im fully confident that Schaub on the ground is light years behind Nogueira and will be submitted , also a lot of people here seem to be of the mindset his stand up is better than Nogueira's too ??? , i think there boxing is about level if not only by experience Nogueira gets the nod !!!

    Nogueira Sub 2 RNC :deal

    Are you kidding me?

The UFC's current Heavyweight division is probably the strongest it's ever been at the moment.

Comparatively when compared in recent years yes. That said both PRIDE and SF have had far deeper divisions than anything the UFC has ever produced. For my money though the UFC in the earlier days boasted a better depth than what we see currently. Most of their heavy's whilst proving to be physical specimens are largely unproven.

This is a horrible fight for Nog and another annoyingly great fight for Schaub. Like him or not, smug frat boy or not, Schaub has decently fast hands and can move in and out pretty well. Nog's reflexes are GONE and I expect Schaub to pound the **** out of him the way Mir and Velasquez did. If they wanted to have Nog look good they should have given him some wrestler who he could sub.
