is nog supposed to fight Mir first or what ?... But anyway , if nog's next opponent is werdum , do you guys have any preditions ? I've seen their first fight in pride fc...Nog is past his prime...Werdum seems to be better than before. But again , it's hard to tell if he really made that much progress since he already beat Gonzaga in "jungle fight" (before the ufc)...maybe werdum's still the same...maybe not. He was dominating Vera on the ground but..no surprise there. It's hard to beat werdum at his own game. Only a guy like Nog is comfortable on the ground vs werdum...(and probably Barnett too)...Kharitonov was avoiding the ground like the plague when he had to fight him. Just like Arlovski. (which resulted in two , extremely boring fights)
I can't go against Nog. He has The Power right now. In the UFC he is king until someone topples him from the throne.
Well its by far UFCs thinnest divison I cant seem him losing to anyone there. I just hope by the time he beats Frank Mir and Wedrum which will probablly take us till Spring 09 that somebody has really emerged into a threat.
That is a very dangerous match for Randy in my opinion. He may feel this, and it may take a large outcry from the public to make that happen. At his age, I just don't know that he feels like proving himself here. I know Noguiera lost to Fedor, but I think he may be more difficult for Randy to defeat than Fedor. Noguiera has better hands than Randy, and he is still dangerous on his back. I wouldn't pick Couture against either Fedor or Noguiera, but I think he has a good chance against both. I just like his chances against Fedor better.
