Okay, let's put all our realistic opinions together why we think this or that person will win. After compiling all datas, we may just get the right insight where we put our money on.

For me, so far my money is on Pac and I'll list a few reasons why.

    1. Contrary to other's belief, Pac is best when counterpunching. He initiates action with a right jab, not to hurt but a setup. He throws that jab to make his opponent react and counters with a left straight and ducks under, or slides to the right and away.

    2. Again, contrary to other's belief, Pac will not try to fight Floyd inside, but rather use his superior footwork to quickly get in and out. Pac will not be as easy to hit as many thinks, when he does get hit, expect him to land a few hits back, more than he receives.

    3. Pertains to number 2. Power department, I give Pac the slight edge, but the more the better. Floyd can not match the combinations of Pac's output.

    4. Both really want the win. We hear Pac playing around that he doesn't take his training seriously. That is far from the fact.....
He is relaxed, but when it's time to train, he is totally focused. He took a couple days break from his training and many people thought negative of it. In training, you actually need time to rest and let your muscles heal. It is also good for the brain, relax and give your mind to think. Like when you have a problem, back off and when you come back to it, you see a different perspective you didn't see before.

I'll also give my reason of a possible Floyd win.
1.I believe Floyd has the better chin.
    2. If he dances in circles ala SRL in the 2nd fight against Duran, patiently waiting, coming in only when there's a clear shot, frustrating Pac, he wins by decision.

I think floyd wins this because its 6 years too late. And pac is clearly not prime anymore. plus floyds beauty sleep aka retirement makes him still prime.

Pac just beat a prime Tim Bradley who just beat Marquez. Stop worrying about what others are thinking are start coming up with your own conclusions.

This fight is 100% mental, both will be in top shape and both are very gifted fighters. Bottom line is how they react when things go wrong. I do not know what will go wrong, but if Pac lands some big shots I believe Floyd will mentally crumble, get KO'd or more likely quit. If Floyd is too fast too slick I think pac will get picked apart and lose by a very wide margin.

Who is my money on, well I have no idea, just going to hope this fight lives up to the hype and let the best old man win.

Pac because he wants to win while Floyd only doesn't want to lose. Floyd thinks he's TBE already. But he doesnt know the day you think you already made it was the day you started declining.

It's a close fight between the two in their primes. But at 147 I just think that's too much out of Pacquiao's league.

So I'll go with Floyd winning.

At 135???? We're talking a whole different match. Both men would be so much better.

no stoppage. i favour floyd because his offence is better than pac's defence, although it's possible pac could win on activity.

I think Pacs unorthodox style, his angles, his power, his superior hand and foot speed and his mentality makes him a nightmare opponent for Floyd.

I see Pacquiao closing the distance using a lot of feints and his fast feet and great footwork, getting in range and throwing that right hook, straight left then getting out of range before Mayweather can counter him

I see Mayweather being forced to fight more aggressive and be forced to come to Pacquiao, because i really dont see Manny being all out aggressive and throwing punches non stop, i see Pacquiao being very patient and using his feints and his jab to create openings, I really dont think Mayweather will be prepared for Pacquiao the boxer.

I think Pacquiao's style is fit to beat Mayweather.

High activity, faster footwork, awkward movement + angles so which makes his philly shell unusable, faster hands, harder puncher. He also has a good defense, contrary to possible belief. (As you mentioned, his in and out footwork, getting out before his opponent lands)

Whoever comes in the better shape will probably win though. As of now, Floyd seems that way but I could just be falling for the hype.

motivation and fear factor. pac has more motivation being the underdog and he is not afraid to lose since he has already lost. pac has great mental advantage going into the fight.

despite people insisting Mayweather's legs are gone, he moved just perfectly against Maidana and Canelo. And you can argue it's because they were slow, but so was guererro, and he looked slow against him. Floyd shows up to challenges, if you're below him, he'll coast, if you're closer to matching him, he'll turn it on and move. I think Floyd wins because he's a better mover. The hardest fight, imo, that Floyd has had since moving to welterweight has been Hatton. Even though Hatton got finished, Hatton gave Floyd a lot of problems in the first 6 or 7 rounds because he never took a step backwards and constantly cut Floyd off when he tried to move, and even though Pacquiao is aggressive, he's not the infighter that Hatton is. He fights at range, and doesn't have the tools to plant Floyd on the ropes.

Pacquiao, at least compared to Floyd, is an open book for punches, his defense doesn't involve moving his head or moving out of range, a lot of it is offense or putting his gloves up and waiting for the punches to stop. I think Floyd is going to probably drop a few rounds in the beginning, but as Manny gets a little tired, and yes, he does slow down as the fight goes, Floyd will be able to turn it up and land significant enough shots to get the decision

So taking 2 years off means he stayed in his prime? Don't people debate about whether or not 3 years off ruined Muhammad Ali? It sounds like you're a Pac fan trying to say Floyd is at his absolute peak and that Manny is past it to try and give weight to Manny if he wins. Physically, neither are at their best, technically, they are both better than they ever have been. They're in the same boat, Mayweather just doesn't have the style to support it.

People make a lot of assumptions that are unlikely to come true in this fight.

Pacquiao IS hard to hit. He is faster, he is accurate. He is clever. He will move to the right and look to establish lead foot dominance and shoot his left down the middle all night. He will look to counter Floyds jab to the body with the right hook.

BUT Floyd WON'T shoulder roll or lie on the ropes for extended periods of time. He wont pump his jab, nor will he jab to the body, look out for the straight right to the body. He will paw with the jab, shoot his right hand and roll to the right (traditionally, the wrong way vs southpaw). When he's close to the ropes he will use lateral movement to try and escape and Manny wont't be able to cut the ring off.

I'm more of a Floyd guy but I can't see a clear winner. I feel the outcome depends on how prepared for Floyd Pac is. He needs to stop Floyd from reseting and make him unconfortable. If he can do this, then we will see just how good Floyd really is
