None of the judges scored the deducted point off Broner last night

No, he would always be the favourite, but he'd be unlikely to always win.

He DID win when they finally met, and that's all we need for the record.

But it was a lot closer than everyone has made out since.

He certainly won 4 and 6 and almost certainly 9 and 10 (Two of the three judges thought so ).

Which was how I ( and those two judges) scored it, 8 - 4.


But in addition to that, the Beantown RBR dude gave him TWO ADDITIONAL rounds.

So, while I scored it 8-4 Floyd, it seems that 6 -6 would have been perfectly reasonable.

His daddy was shi tin' himself up till the final announcement !

Last night's commentary team gave the (false) impression that Broner was 'in the fight,' when he wasn't.

Both HBO and SHOWTIME's commentators gave the impression that it was wide for Floyd when it was in fact, very close.



Floyd would always have to be the favourite to beat Pac, but it's unlikely he always would.

 

I had it 9-3, so 7-5 might not seem like a terrible score.

Thing is, I can't find more than the three (5, 8 and 12) that I can make any sort of case for awarding to Adrian.
