So in other words it was another **** victory for PBF. Another hand picked opponent, rather than fight a real thread, chicken Mayweather chose a one dimentional, hack who is just a wrestler. Not my opinion, but apparently it is yours.
if he was so normal, he shouldnt be boxing and be in the pub drinking full time... some of the things hatton was saying was so annoying! im glad floyd knocked him up !
I'm a Hatton (and British) fan and you have to live by the sword and die by the sword IMHO. Hattons style is to rough up opponents (which isn't cheating) so shouldn't really complain if he kops the odd elbow now and again.
Damn, coming from you. This means a lot.:nod You picked Hatton to win...Oh, seems everybody forgets the elbows thrown by hatton....Floyd didnt hit Hatton with the elbow..he pryed him off with it..Just to make it clear who did what with elbows....
It's pronounced knocked out, your wording implies that Floyd deposited his seed in Rickys belly. Yes he did **** Ricky but not that way. :yep
I have just come to terms with hatton losing. Floyd is a great fighter and he showed that he his not a runner. Also is arrogance is a put on i mean he was quite gracious in winning saying why they now call hatton the hitman i mean he walked through all of mayweathers shots and had mayweather rocked but the sheer number he was just get clattered with.
I always knew Hatton was up against it. I just didn't think it was the forgone conclusion that some people were saying, I always knew that Mayweather was justifiably the favorite for this fight though. I think Cortez allowed the fight to be the type of fight that Hatton would have wanted but Mayweather still won....I've no complaints TBH.
Some points to consider: * Love or hate him, Ricky Hatton gave Floyd the fight of his life. * Putting Hatton down is basically putting Floyd down by saying he fought a useless bum. Well, it took ten rounds to get rid of a useless bum, which, when all is said and done, is not very impressive for the supposed "P4P King". * Floyd employed plenty of dirty and illegal tactics to score a victory, which, when all is said and done, is not very impressive for the supposed "P4P King". You could say he used Hatton's own tactics against him. Does that mean two wrongs make a right, or should he have just BOXED his way to success? You know the real answer to this one. * It wasn't a single shot that took Ricky out, it was a culmination of shots over time. * The UK people have no less respect for Hatton than they did before the fight. Quite the contrary -- he is now more respected than ever. National pride IS NOT hurt. * Most English people here have shown respect for Floyd and congratulated him on a decent win. * Joe Cortez was not fair, he was only firm. * Many of the threads on this board have been outright attacks on an entire country (England) rather than intelligent and constructive posts written by true boxing fans who are able to show respect to two great fighters for putting their lives at risk for an evening's entertainment for us. This kind of behaviour is shameful, but on the other hand, we can't expect anything better from anyone with a mental age equivalent to their shoe size. * Hatton has lost nothing by fighting Floyd. He is still a champion, only he is much richer now. £20 million / $40 million richer, apparently. * Not all Brits are fans of Ricky Hatton. * Not all Brits approve of the way Ricky fought Kostya Tsyzu. * The kind of extreme nationalism displayed on these forums is pretty much bordering on racism. * FACT: Racism has been linked directly to a very low level of intellect. Some of you guys need to evolve from your caveman-like opinions and viewpoints.
