Nonsense. Castillo was the hardest fight of Floyds life, since he nearly lost. Fatton on the other hand was down on every score card by a wide margin, and by round 8 he was getting so thoroughly beaten I was surprised it wasnt stopped. Good on Cortez for letting it last so we could see the knock out.

Fatton is a bum, not because he cant fight, but because he can only fight one way, and that is in a straight line and using illegal tactics like grabbing and wrestling. Floyd merely adapted and beat him at his own game, and then when Fatton got tired murdered him with multiple lead rights and combinations. Round 8 had to be one of the most beautiful displays of boxing brilliance I've seen in a long time. For the first time in Fattons career he was getting backed up into the ropes.

Floyd finished Fatton by round 8. From then it was only a matter of time.

Nonsense. If the illegal tactics stops someone from using an illegal tactic it is well within their rights to use it. If Fatton wants to hold and grab he can eat a ****ing elbow.

He still beat Fattons ass by boxing simple as. Whenever Fatton was outside he hammered him, whenever he tried to fight inside he got hammered. Floyd was masterful on the inside and outside. Fatton was dominated in every facet of the fight.

Yep, that says alot more. If it was a single shot it would have been lucky, but Fatton was getting pounded by straight right leads the whole fight, and finally got put out of his misery.

Nope, most of em, like you are pure scum. What everyone sees as brilliance the world over, you attempt to degenerate it as if it wasnt the masterful display everyone else saw and continue to make excuses, if Fatton had lost by decision, I couldnt even bare to imagine what you morons would be saying. Thank god Floyd knocked is ass out. Because if you can complain about a ass beating knock out you can complain about everything.

Rightly so. Most English fans dont know **** about boxing and only started to follow it because of Fatton. Not just English fans but Fatton fans in general. You have no business on a boxing forum displaying such idiocy, and the conduct of English fans abroad is well documented, so its deserving of being ridiculed.

What garbage. Pure and utter ****ing garbage.

Are there moronic Hatton fans? yep. Of course there are.
I would say no more than there are moronic Floyd fans. Or Wlad fans. Or Vitlay fans. You get what I mean.

    I call bull**** right here.

So Tyson was justified in biting Holyfield?
If Hopkins fouls Calzaghe (and he will. He always does) - will Calzaghe be justified if he punches him in the balls?

I have no problem with Floyd using his elbows, none at all. That's what he had to do. He had to do it to show Hatton he wasn't going to put up with that ****, and that's fine. I applaud him for that.

The only problem I have is with the REF actually saying that he knew Floyd was doing it, but that was fine. That's garbage. Can you headbutt someone if it's protecting yourself? Can you knee them in the balls if it's protecting yourself????

    Can you ****.

What the ref had to do was stop Hatton fouling. I agree with that.
But not let the other guy do whatever he wants, but still punish the first guy.

The gif someone has posted here where Hatton tries to rabbit punch Floyd (and he does try, no doubt) clearly shows Floyd elbowing Hatton on the cut on his eye.

So, on your theory - Hatton was justified in punching Floyd in the back of the head? If Floyds going to throw illegal elbows, he can have a rabbit punch in exchange?

Please tell me what is immature about that.

I didn't say it to provoke a response or to be needlessly derogatory. I said it because it is the complete truth of the matter.

Not a try at anything. I already told you what I thought of that a couple of weeks ago. It just looks stupid, a ridiculous pose, "our faces MUST TOUCH!!".

I don't think you are ugly or the girl (or vice versa if you are the girl), I just think the picture is ugly.

    LOL

I could pick holes in this all day, but PlugInBabies and Sandman owned you already. But one of the funniest parts is the last part about Brits not knowing anything about boxing. The term "boxing" came from Britain!

Records of Classical boxing activity disappeared after the fall of the Roman Empire. However, there are detailed records of various fist-fighting sports that were maintained in different cities and provinces of Italy between the 12th and 17th centuries. The sport would later resurface in England during the early 18th century in the form of bare-knuckle boxing sometimes referred to as prizefighting. The first documented account of a bare-knuckle fight in England appeared in 1681 in the London Protestant Mercury, and the first English bare-knuckle champion was James Figg in 1719. This is also the time when the word "boxing" first came to be used.

    EAT IT.
