The kid Jr did pull a good Winky turtle defence on Donaire the other night..the trouble with that defence..as was with Winky..it limits the output..offensively limits the output since you are always trying to cover your face instead of hitting the other guy..somebody's gotta teach him to balance the two properly..against a better offensive fighter this will shorten his career very drastically..Made a better fight of it in the middle rounds..but was still far from enough..and even then that was Donaire's fault who decided to stay at mid-range to catch this kid..Mos def one for the future if they can cook some fire in this kid's stomach a bit. Nonito..this kid got all the physical talents in buckets..he's just a cutie who fights one way..granted a beautiful way it is..but when he needs to force a fight he can't..and against cats like Rigondeaux..who are even slicker in defence he's gonna look worse..Somebody gotta teach him how to peel a guy layer by layer when he can't force him to lead..Bautiful counterpuncher in full flow if the opponent obliges..But he's gotta get his head straight..he ain't no Sugar Ray..ain't never gonna be..Alowed himself to get frustrated out there when it aint working..not good. The fight itself was average.Back to the drawing board for these kids.
Donaire needs to cut out his showboating crap. He looks stupid, and he hasn't beaten big enough names to think he's that good. Plus, he gets hit alot. He should act more like his fellow countryman Manny Pacquiao. Class all the way around, no showboating, complimentary to his opponents. Nonaire just bugs me the way he acts. He'll get an ass kicking if and when he foight Rigoundeaux or Gamboa or Abner Mares.

I didnt mind his showboating thought he boxed well overal and won the fight clearly, you can see why he is p4p ranked highly.
