Rigo is better than Gamboa, but Nonito right now doesn't need to be fighting Rigo, just bad career move. If Rigo gets more money behind him, Nonito will fight him.

For me Rigo is as good as it gets at the lower weights. Donaire doesnt want any of this and I dont blame him .

    High risk , low reward.

Only tipicals chronic cubans haters, newbies and spoiled teenagers can call Rigo a bum.9 fights yes,and 7 wins by KO including a champ and ex champ and an european champ.I see all credibles posters in this forum calling for that fight.Nonito keeps talking excuses that not even Chavez Jr can find to avoid martinez. But Nonito will go on and feast in old mexican fading glories like Arce.Marquez and Mijares. And Rigo will keep looking for fights in Russia ,Japan,Ireland. Its what its left for boxing and we have to accept it.

9 fights and dropped onto his ass with a jab. He has no Chin. None. Just like the vast majority of Cuban fighters.

¿ What's it with you and chins ? , ¿ how old are you ? , Oh man I'd like to see you in a ring just to see how " strong " your " mandible " ( lol ) is . I bet you ain't got the balls to get inside a ring , that's why you are so fixated with other boxers chins because you don't have the cojones to test yours . Stop being afraid and grow up kiddo .

rigo is good but he wants a shortcut to stardom via nonito...why cant he fight more often like 3-4 times a year???...destroy anyone in his path and make a name for himself...

problem with rigo is he thinks he is a superstar already...just like his diehard fans thinks so...

Some boxers when become champions rather to fight as the highest level while others rather to fight bums

Because like Nonito nobody wants to fight him, that is why... Do you think all those fighters at 122, specially those at the top desire a fight with Rigondeaux? Of course not, they will try to feed us with the myth that they have no support, but the truth is if they bring the fight to Miami, we all go, we have done it before with Casamayor

Good if he's not scared and Rigo is such a bum, he should have no issue with fighting him, draw up the paperwork.

Donaire has been doing this a lot longer, so he deserves respect for that and the speed he has maintained his entire career, it's always up to the challenger, that's how boxing works. That said, I personally would probably run if I saw either of these guys from the stands.
