Lmao at this lazy-assed prospects calling out prp'ers! Rigo is good but he should earn a Donaire fight the old-fashioned way: fight your way to the top echelons. FFS, 9 fricken pro fights (and when he'll, peradventure, be handed his arse, everybody would crow Rig is too green to fight a top 10 p4p)...:patsch:-(

Then whats Nonito scared of then? if he is so much better, then prove it, thats what the best in the buisness do.

Boxing is also biz, as most here would grudgingly recognize. Which, in all honesty, would you fight if you were Donaire in terms of economics, Arce/Nishioka or the economically unproven Rigondeaux?

A Nishioka fight would be excellent, as he is considered the best in the division...fighting a past it Arce does nothing for Nonito...Unless of course he'd rather have an easier night.

All this talk of Gamboa> Rigo makes me think he's genuinely concerned with the matchup.

If he beat Gamboa though he'd get major props but that stigma of not fighting Rigondeaux will come back to haunt him.

That being said I think he either fights neither, or gets pressured into fighting Rigondeaux since Gamboa's looking to move up

A Nishioka bout would bring both money & legitimacy to Donaire than any fight at this point. An Arce fight would do nothing to his legacy; in the leagacy department I believe Rigo would be a better fight. But one cannot deny that Arce would bring more moolahs to Donaire's pockets [for such a relatively easy fight] than a Rigo. Truth.

I would say he should fight Nishioka first then Rigo.

Rigondeux hasn't earned a shot at Donaire nor is that fight attractive yet. It will be an attractive unification bout after Donaire beats Arce and Nishioka.

Why doesn't Rigondeux just keep fighting until he gets high enough in the ranking that Donaire will have to fight him or vacate?

He should fight Rigondeux but he has only had one fight at this weight and Rigondeux hasn't even defended his title against anyone to even know he deserves the shot. Toward the end of the year this fight will begin to make more sense but Rigondeux needs to do more to raise his stock.

He isn't doing much at all. He can't speak english which doesn't help and he doesn't seem to be trying hard to learn (and he should be), he isn't fighting very often and appears to be a lazy fighter who only fought maybe once last year that I can remember.

Seriously, why does he think he deserves a fight with Donaire? He hasn't beaten anybody and he isn't really fighting anybody either.

Rigo doesn't want ONLY nonito, he just want to stay active and fight big names, so far the only offer is going to Siberia to fight a Russian dude, is it fair? Where is everybody else?
    Now champs go after contenders?

:rofl:rofl:rofl @ all these ***gots saying 'if Nonito ain'tscared, fight him then!"

And yet none of these same ***gots are telling Floyd to do the same thing despite Floyd saying the fight is easy with 70-100 million looming even with a 50/50 split. The hatred is insane.

yep, although I like Donaire his remark about Gamboa/Rigo sounds like a confession, I never heard him commenting about a fighter so abundantly before, that sounds strange
