    No. His loss to Rigodeaux and then his destruction by Walters show that he falls short of ATG status. But, he was a very good fighter.

    I've probably watched that fight 5 or 6 times and I don't think many 122lbers could have taken that Donaire, Rigo was bad match up. Cautious, balenced, sharp as any fighter in recent memory and a southpaw to boot. Tough out for any counter puncher especially for a left hooker. :yep

    I once thought so.

    Recently we've seen him out punched and out boxed.

    During his prime he didn't beat enough elite opposition to undo the damage done by those losses.

    ATG? Nah. Good fighter though. A lot of people were really high on him, before he started falling in love with his power and before Rigo completely undressed him. If it wasn't so one sided, I think the perception would be he's still had a chance to achieve that status. But, along comes Walters and dashes any remaining hopes of that.
