    as someone whose not an a's, raiders, giants, or 49ers these two are my bay area sports franchises. ward has brought fights to oakland but nonito has not fought here yet. wonder if he's forgeten his roots. i'd love to see a big card with ward, donaire, and guerrero all fighting, and maybe some lower tier bay area fighters like karim mayfield as well.

    The boxing world is much smaller than you'd think. Groves and DeGale were from the same club.
