    he does get that much love, filipinos say he is the next big thing, and he will be loved more once he steps up and beats montiel, darch the 2ns time, and co. If you watched the donaire martinez fight last time youll be able to hear the cheers of filipinos. i watched that fight too in araneta so i know. Some chicks even said hes cute and many people are chanting donaire all the time. the guys got swagger and charisma, and he embraces being filipino. Whats not to love about him? HE IS 100% PINOY AND HE ONLY WAVES THE FILIPINO FLAG EVERY TIME HE FIGHTS.


    To be honest, i like him more than pac because of his style. hes an athletic sonuvabitch who can box and think, and he's gonna go places because of his god given talent. hell, even the security guards in my workplace like donaires style

    I dont like this poster dobyzhee. he has been writing replies about not liking the philippines and not wanting to speak tagalog. maybe his parents never thought him about nationalism or knowing his roots. yet, hes posting on every pac or filipino fighter thread. ironic. hes probably a 16 year old filamerican who has identity crisis.

    well hyper, its very difficult to understand or explain. life as an asian american is a paradox that i cant explain right now. allow me to try to explain it on a night on which i have not drank so much. then it will become clear....

    Its not that complicated, I am Filipino with mostly American and Canadian characteristics. Thats because I grew up here and lived here most of my life. But at the same time, I am very comfortable with being a Filipino too. So wheres my loyalty? Well I love to visit the Philippines but I could not imagine living there. Theres pretty much the honest answer.

    But when Manny or Nonito wins, because theyre Filipinos, It makes me proud.

    The problem with Doby is that he goes out of his way to offend Filipinos, Hes bitter about something

    He still has a lot of improvement to do, especially with his balance and footwork.

    I dont see anyone at 112 or 115 who would give him a real fight IMO.
