He already is, in the lower divisions, so it's irrelevant what happens in the Inoue match. But if he wins against Inoue, he's a legend.

As a fan and person and athlete, yes
Especially compared to the endless trolling we have as fans.

Not every champ, (no matter how exciting) can be labled an ATG elite operator. The terms ATG, elite and just great are thrown around like it's nothing special.

Only the greatest of the great can reach ATG status.. Most fans on here water them down so bad they have no meaning

Exactly like donaire being questioned as an ATG. The real question for donaire is did he do enough to be put in the HALL.

Borderline HOF, which is laughable questioning his status all time

How many four weight champion winner of 15 title fights do you know? He beat Vic Darchinyan, Fernando Montiel, Omar Narvaez, and Toshiaki Nishioka. Those are solid high level champions. He's done a lot more than many ATGs on the classic sections top 100 list.

Again, how many guys from the past in his weight divisions have as many victories in title fights? How many of them have risen from flyweight to super bantamweight? 5? 6? (Jimmy McLarnin, Jimmy Wilde, Manny Pacquiao, Fighting Harada, Miguel Canto, Marco Antonio Barrera, Pascual Perez, and Roman Gonzalez.) Okay 9. Eder Jofre and Pancho Villa? 11.

    He did enough for HOF.
He flattened two HOF worthy guys himself, who were in their primes.

There are 4 titles, so it's a lot easier these days.

But it's about resumes, the guys he has beaten.

Not a fan but certainly an appreciator! Funny I was wondering this very question this week. After watching the fight Saturday and going back and watching some of his other fights I think it is open for debate. Anyone who says absolutely or absolutely not may need to dig a little deeper? I am undecided and hoping someone makes a good case for or against it. I need to think on it a little longer.

Donaire is NOT an ATG, he's a very good fighter, but not a true great

What two hof fighters did he flatten?????
Vic was a one demensional front runner bully that got whooped when he fought legitimate comp and monteil is not a hof..

Fyi: you don't become as great as someone simply by beating them or fighters on their level.

Donaire could be a HOFer but no way is he mistaken for an ATG...

Well his career is not over yet but I personally would not consider him one of the ALL TIME greats.

I think a lot of people get ATG and HOF mixed up.

Nonito had accomplished just as much if not more than Canelo, but Canelo is a Hell Yeah!! And Nonito is an Absolutely Hell No?? I think you've watered down your own meaning of ATG status ranking.
