Agreed. I really like how you can see Darchinyans expression change when he goes from bad ass killer round house left hand comin' for you... to LIGHT OUT!!!
BTW, I can't believe two of the three judges had the Donaire - Darchinyan fight even at the time of the stoppage. Where do they get these guys and how is it that they are keeping their jobs? Hasn't Steve Epstein been on the wrong side of a number of controversial decisions? I agreed with the third judge who gave all four rounds to Donaire.
it is an amazing left hook. comsidering that donaire has an orthodox stance with the left as lead or jab, his power probably is the right hand. but he starched a guy with the left.
Darchinyan was rushing in and didn't see it coming at all though. THat makes for a devastating combination. And this guy wanted to fight all the way up to 130 to fight the likes of Pacquiao and Marquez?
Goes to show that the Mayorga type fighters (very awkward, wild and looping punches, etc.) can blow through a lot of fighters, but when they step up in class, they will get beat by someone that can avoid their wild punches while seemingly landed all of their own straighter shots.
i like donaire 1st time i seen him fight.........he outboxed and outbrawled vic all night.....glad to see vic lose hated him since i 1st seen him
It was only a matter of time before someone timed him coming in like he always does when he gets cocky. He needed this, he has always been to damn cocky and disrespectful in the ring of his opponents abilities. Im a fan of his too, the idiot had it coming.
Nonito was sure of a victory he even mentioned how small Vic was 3 or 4 pounds in this class is huge a good advice to Vic stay away from a younger, faster, taller Nonito. Philipine has two great boxers now, which is better? I think Nonito is more polished than Pac.
