    incredible stuff, i bet arum is gutted! we may now egt the darchinyan v donaire rematch we craved for years ago...

    10 months ago i'd love to of seen it. Now i think it's time for Nonito to progress and Vic to take care of business around him. When he beat Mijares that would of been perfect time for rematch.

    Shocked by this but might mean we see more of him on Sky now.

    gives us a much better shot at seeing him fighting the tournament winner. it does however right of any big fight north of 118

    Well, whilst not a 'big' fight he could see out his contract at 122 against Nishioka and Vasquez Jr. Then see if anything can be done with TR at 126.

    That stuff should be a while away yet anyway, at least 18 months. All sorts could've changed by then. Arum is in his 80s and won't be around for ever. JuanMa and Gamboa might well have gone North and been stopped by Ricky Burns (who has stopped both Fana and Uchiyama on the same night) and Dobaire might be facing a 'roided up Calderon for Featherweight supremacy.

    I didn't realise he was.

    And the Japs ARE coming over to the States apparently. Nishioka included. He could pursue a fight with Chris John at 126 anyway.

    My comment was more a dig arum and shaws attitude for linking the pair up again. I reckon Gamboa will follow soon.

    Yeah them two ruined that bout which sums them two guys up. Yeah wouldn't be shocked by that. Although i be honest...i really don't follow Mr Gamboa's progress as much as i should. Do not know why either....

    Gamboa-Solis is pretty interesting IMO. Gamboa should just outpunch him to win on points or stop him late, although Solis seems pretty tough, not sure how much he's actually improved since the loss to Pac mind.

    Gamboa Vs John should be next up. It looks like Arum is keeping the JuanMa cash pit going as he doesn't seem to be talking about the superfight with Gamboa anymore.

    Teiken, Japan's biggest promotional company, is trying to branch out into America. Among the Japanese fighters planned to fight in the US this year is Nishioka, if he is successful in his next fight against Munoz.
