    wut a kiss up.

Nonito, be your own man and quit living under the shadow of him and Top Rank. You will ALWAYS be second fiddle.

Every Filipino boxer is on the map BECAUSE of Pacquaio. Gotta pay homage to the King of Filipino boxing.

It's the culture. Kinda have to kowtow to the "National Fist" or risk losing a fan base. Boxers today need on PPV numbers, and if people don't want to watch you, then you you won't get anywhere. I suppose he could always go the Mayweather route and wear the black hat, but I'm not sure that works as well in his culture.

As far as Nonito showing respect, its impressive as he seems more American than Asian. Nice to see he's still very much in touch with his roots.

He has the size to do it.

I can see him ending his career as a lightweight.

Well, Donaire is from Bohol and General Santos where was this? I think there will be 2 more champions from that region. Saludar and Sonsona. Although Sonsona got beat Vasquez jnr. i personally though that fight was bull****.The thing that pissed me off is not he lossed. But the promoter and blaming the kid for the loss.WTF! they have a habit of throwing 19-21 years olds against seasoned champions. Saludar and Sonsona are my favorite prospects from General Santos and I believe are better than any prospects any where in the philippine Islands and they too will pay respects to Pacquiao after becoming campeon del Mundo.
