So much for "fighting with a broken hand since the 2nd round"

nobody was buying that broken hand excuse for his poor perfomance. Andre Ward on the "other hand";) completely dominated his last fight with a serious hand injury before his fight even happened. and didnt bring it up until the day after the fight. thats a warrior :yep

Bad performance by Donaire... but I still think he KO's Nishioka and Arce.. and I have him barely beating Rigo (since I haven't seen too much from him)...

  7. Are people actually trying to suggest that Donaire was lying and blaming his 'poor' performance on a broken hand? The **** was ****ing soaked in blood... had to have hurt like a mother****er regardless.

Was that a poor performance? He was coming up in weight and knocked the guy down. He was winning on exchanges and he showed he can fight even when backed against the ropes. There are some people that are really, really hard to please.

On the other hand, some boring snoozefest with all the hugging and running are called master class performance. You gotta be kidding me.

Agree 100%. Obviously his hand was ****ed up. His ring finger was swollen and it was soaked in blood.

He moved up in weight and dominated.

How is that a poor performance??

Donaire's color isn't black enough to give an impressively slick performance.

This guy is very good but is becoming too confident and cocky in the ring.

Donaire could have done better, but people can't expect a Montiel-like knockout each time he fights. I'm confident he'll become more consistent in his offense and impress against Arce. Vasquez fought a good and difficult style.

i suggest Nonito should use what Floyd has been using for his hands from now on.
