I honest to god don't see Ward being that superior to Donaire in any way.
Add to that Donaire adds more speed and power p4p as well.

Only thing i think thats affecting him is that the expectations are so immense he is trying to take the other guys head off from the opening bell putting on way too much power which is injuring himself + putting the other guy in survival mode.

He just needs to relax and box and the KOs will follow naturally instead of forcing it.
Also needs to not listen to ******s like on this forum.

He beat a guy who was ranked in the top 5 in his division.
Vasquez is not a club fighter for crying out loud.
What did people expect Donaire to do? Kill the guy?

I don't get why the OP is laughing. So his hand wasn't broken, still sounds painful. ****, his finger was all swollen and discolored when they showed it after the fight. I don't think his performance was that bad. He smacked Vasquez around and had him on ***** street a few times.

That's good to hear in a sense. A broken hand would have put Nonito on the shelf for too long. I wonder if this happened because his hands were properly wrapped, or because he kept hitting the top of Vasquez's head? That is the hardest part of the skull so it could been a mixture of both scenarios.

Nonito needs to quit "trying" and just let his KO's come. He does have really good power, but he should be a technician and open the dude up for a kayo shot, not just go out and start blasting. If he keeps doing that he's gonna end up like JuanMa and run into a Salido.

Donaire just needs to stop looking for the KO, and box. He has the speed and skills, He just needs more patience.

donaire should have varied his offense. he could gone more to the body. could have tried to break his opponent down slowly instead of head hunting and going for the ko the whole night.

Could be a micro fracture because we're so little. Thats why I look up to Pac because he so small and beat up the bigger guys like Barrera, Morales, Marquez and Diaz.
