Donaire does not seem interested in this matchup from what I have been reading. He wants to battle Nishioka as his next bout. I heard a interview with robert garcia that the whole team believes Rigondeaux needs a few more wins in order to fight Donaire in their eyes.

Nonito "the filipino duck" Donaire, that's how they should announce him from now.

This is pathetic. Khan didn't complain about how unexciting Bradley is. I was hoping after Pac and Floyd retire they'd be replaced by some fresh warrior blood. No ***** mentality. Donaire is not helping with that kind of attitude. You fight the best guys in your division, doesn't matter what style he brings to the table. Rigo has a title and is arguably the best at 122. Speaking of being unimpressive Donaire didn't exactly destroy Vazquez the way he was supposed to. At least Rigo stopped the last guy he fought. Donaire had WV2 down but couldn't finish him.

Since ND wants to fight Gamboa, we should give Mr. Flash what he wants, but on one condition: he can fight Gamboa as long as he promises to fight Rigo afterwards. This way he can please both the casual fans and the hardcore crowd. It's not just about the casual fans; ND needs to realize the die-hards pay for his fights too.

I wasn't impressed by Rigondeaux either. Suavecito was TERRIFIED. Sensing that, Rigo should have walked that ass down and stopped him earlier.

Fight has to happen down the road, but hopefully it can grow and although no fight is unavoidable these days if RIGO starts making more of a statement then this fight could well happen. Have huge respect for Rigo, he has so much skill.

No fight is unavoidable? How long have we been wating for Manny-Floyd? Plus, there's a good shot, it will NEVER happen, I really think this will be MP's last fight and he'll go out winning by ko.

I Nonito believes he can beat Rigo, it might be a good idea to fight him now, before he gets better.

    "I wasn't impressed."

Translator from Boxing Talk to English.

"I was impressed. His defensive techniques worry me and would make for a difficult match in which i wouldn't even be getting paid that much. Not worth the risk."

Rigo is the main man, and as much as Donaire wants to try con people by saying he isn't exciting we know the real story. That interview from the Flash translates to me, and i'm sure anyone else with half a brain as Rigo is far to skilled, to tough to hit and will do nothing for my career. The amount of openings Nonito will give Rigo to counter will lead to a wide UD for Rigo. Easy work as the money man says! I just hope Rigo doesnt get ignored he needs to get fights and exposure for people to truly appreciate his skills.

Sorry was typing as you wrote, completely agree, Donaire is no fool, the last thing his career needs now is a fight with "El Chacal"! :)
