Well, I respect Donaire for his honesty. I totally agree with what he said, he has the talent to be P4P but hasn't beaten good enough competition yet.

If he beats Sidorenko and Montiel, then he deserved to be in the position Ring currently have him.

Hagler got pounded on by that undefeated puncher, had suffered boxers kidney and a fractured nasal cavity, gout, RLS, lymphatic filariasis, pica, osteopenia, trichotillomania alopecia severus, Cotard's Syndrome and [FONT=Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]paraphilias after that fight, as Ray KNEW because Hagler confided in him. :bart I thought you were supposed to be so hardcore and well-researched, Addie. I shudder to think what Winona would say about this.

Donaire always comes off as genuine and honest in all interviews Ive seen him in. He's got an exciting, skillful pleasing style. I think this guy will one day become SFW champ and he will be great fighter in his own right.

woW. that's nice to see Nonito doesn't overrate himself. He knows his value and i like it. Now i completely agree with him and i think he's one of the most talented fighter right now. If he fights more he will be ion the top that's for sure.

Respect. I hope they'll take him off for now - but only until he meets Montiel, because beating the Man at BW will definitely earn him a top10 P4P status, and IMO he will get there. It's interesting, because Hasegawa had better handspeed and angles, but his open defense helped Montiel a lot selling his money punch fighters usually don't see coming. Nonito is a bit better all-round plus has better power to get Fernando's respect in there, though in a Donaire-Hasegawa fight I'd still favor Hozumi, as that shot is a Montiel trademark, and a boxing match favors the 'Japanese PacMan'.

Nice, as long as people stop ducking him and he gets the fights he deserved. He doesnt warrant the P4P status of the Ring Mag as of now.
