Great news for Hussy, the fight is in Dubai :huh, but after Jorge Arce II his opponents have been limited at best and with him losing his last bout against Hisataka in Japan it seems like a stretch to see him getting up . Hopefully Hussy can turn the clock back and bring the IBF and IBO straps back to Aus.
Yeah all the best to Hussy. Tho i have a sad feeling that he will get starched in the middle rounds, as he is on the slide no doubt...
no way hussy wins this, im sorry but hes not in the same league as donaire, and hes on the slide big time, hussy was a great little fighter but hes past his best, although maybe he might just do it for his good mate vic, i wish him all the best.... he certainly has to train alot harder then he has been to win this fight.... harder then the arce fight thats for sure also....
I think that if Nonito can fight the same way he did when he knocked out Darchinian, Hussy wont last.. IMO Donaire is a far better champion then Darchinian, he is just as good a fighter, also he is not an arrogant *******. The way Vic acted towards Donaire after the fight was inexcuseable.
Nonito Donaire!.He still got alot to improve on.I wont be suprise if Huss beats him IMO.Why is this in the middle east? What kind of reception will Donaire get over there.Hussy is just like one of the locals and will get all the support. It wont bother Nonito. But it should be in Australia!!!!
This why boxing is considered a joke by casual fans, Hussy just got easily beat by a no name yet he now gets a title shot, what a ****ed up system.
No1 outside of harcore fans knows who hussein hussein is, if you mentioned the name most would think he was saddams cousin.. He is probably well known in Saudi Arabia, and if not the name will draw a good crowd anyway.. The same reason Paulie Malignaggi will end up fighting Ndou in Italy, there is no market for the fight in USA so they will rely on his Italian last name to draw patriots to the fight
So true. Good luck to Hussy i would like him to win, but its doubtful. At least its tapping into the Middle-east market that gets deprived of top quality boxing, so a big pro Hussein crowd could be on hand.
